Pianos

I’ve been learning piano tuning and repair. I’m currently working on restoring/rebuilding a piano and when I’m done, I’ll start working on making some extra change off of it. Turns out to be a relaxing and rewarding job. As I finish each piece of the piano, I get an immediate sense of accomplishment. Once I start the tuning component, I’ve already got six or seven pianos available to practice on and one paying job (they’re in no rush).

I’ve just moved the piano into the house. It’s playable, but I’ve not finished re-topping the keys. I’m hoping to have the keys finished in the next week or so and start work on regulation and tuning.
